The IAA is responsible for the management of Irish controlled
airspace, the safety regulation of Irish civil aviation and the oversight
of civil aviation security in Ireland.
There are few industries where clear and precise visual communication
is as critical as in aviation. This is always foremost in our designers’ minds when working on IAA publications or events. As part of their brand style we utilise defined icons, waypoints, infographics and colour-coding systems. A recent project we completed was building a standalone identity for the UK-Ireland FAB (Functional Airspace Block) The aircraft symbol depicts a graduated contrail representing the six stakeholders and their unity of purpose. The logotype is expressed in a robust font
to represent the strength in union of the two States.
